Senior Applied AI Engineer
Role Summary
Design and deliver production AI solutions that consolidate engineering and infrastructure data for NVIDIA's ASIC networking product engineering. The role owns end-to-end delivery of AI agents, copilots, analytics, and automation to improve engineering productivity and operational workflows.
Experience Level
Senior β requires 8+ years of experience building production AI or data solutions.
Responsibilities
Own design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of AI-driven analytics and automation for production engineering teams.
- Design, build, and maintain AI solutions for production, characterization, analysis, and operations workflows.
- Develop agentic analytics and copilots enabling engineers to query, analyze, and reason over ASIC data.
- Consolidate data from multiple infrastructure and engineering systems into scalable pipelines and reusable services.
- Partner with production engineering teams to identify pain points and deliver measurable impact.
- Build tools for data access, automation, reporting, anomaly detection, and insight generation.
- Collaborate across teams to align interfaces, improve data quality, and support scalable deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement via user feedback, monitoring, and roadmap planning.
Requirements
Core technical skills and experience required to perform the role.
- 8+ years as an AI solutions engineer, machine learning engineer, or software engineer building production AI/data solutions.
- Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end AI applications in production.
- Expertise in Python and modern software engineering practices.
- Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and workflow orchestration.
- Experience building data pipelines, APIs, services, and applications for structured and semi-structured engineering data.
- Strong communication skills and an ownership-driven mindset.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in semiconductor, hardware, product engineering, test, characterization, or manufacturing analytics environments.
- Familiarity with agent frameworks, vector databases, telemetry platforms, or internal knowledge/data systems.
- Cross-functional experience spanning software, data, infrastructure, and product engineering.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
