Senior Application Engineer (DFT)
Role Summary
Lead pre-sales and growth campaigns for Tessent Silicon Lifecycle Solutions, working with account managers and key customer accounts to support adoption, deployment, and evaluation of Tessent products.
Provide deep technical presentations, design-methodology guidance, and on-site and remote customer support to senior technical managers and engineers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include technical sales support, customer engagement, and problem resolution.
- Lead pre-sales activities and growth campaigns for Tessent products.
- Collaborate with account managers to support customer evaluations and drive sales.
- Present and explain technical product features and flows to senior engineers and managers.
- Support customer adoption of advanced features and provide design methodology guidance.
- Diagnose and take ownership of resolving customer technical issues.
- Relay customer technical requirements and feedback to product marketing and engineering teams.
- Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally as required.
Requirements

- Wide technical experience with large digital IC designs.
- Proven track record working with leading IC customers.
- Sound knowledge of the semiconductor industry and DFT methodologies.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging senior technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Siemens EDA tools or competing EDA platforms.
- Background in semiconductor design or test engineering.
- Previous customer-facing technical roles.
Education Requirements
Minimum university degree at B.Sc. level or equivalent practical experience; the posting states equivalent experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
