Role Summary

Join the global Application Engineering team to ensure technical success and customer satisfaction for proteanTecs' on-chip monitoring IP. Lead customer integrations, verify and debug design-verification flows and silicon interactions, and provide structured feedback to R&D and product management.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on customer enablement, integration, debugging, and product feedback.

• Serve as the primary technical interface for North American customers and support global stakeholders.
• Integrate proteanTecs IP into customer designs and support logic and DV signoff.
• Integrate and deploy proteanTecs DV flow within customer environments.
• Debug DV flow integration, RTL, gate-level simulation, and test-related issues; reproduce problems and coordinate resolutions with R&D.
• Correlate pre-silicon verification results with post-silicon behavior.
• Create and maintain application notes, integration guides, and validation artifacts.
• Provide structured customer feedback to R&D and Product Management and influence the product roadmap.
• Participate in feature validation and early access programs.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional capabilities.

• 3+ years hands-on experience with design verification flow development and integration.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience developing advanced testbench architectures.
• Experience in flow automation and deployment.
• Experience debugging RTL and gate-level simulations and resolving test-related issues.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; solid foundation in digital design, SoC architecture, and silicon development flows.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple customer engagements in parallel.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in application or field engineering and other customer-facing technical roles.
• Exposure to silicon bring-up and manufacturing test.
• Knowledge of CDC/RDC, formal verification, low-power flows, and DFT concepts (Scan, ATPG, IJTAG, BIST).
• Experience supporting SoC-scale designs in advanced process nodes and working with distributed/global teams.
• Familiarity with EDA tools and verification environments.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience as stated in the posting.
