Responsibilities

Primary customer-facing and technical responsibilities include:

• Provide expert guidance across the full RTL-to-GDS flow and optimize customer designs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex synthesis and place-and-route issues, including timing convergence and power optimization.
• Lead benchmarks, evaluations, and technical campaigns to promote tool adoption.
• Develop and maintain reference flows and methodologies (synthesis, floorplanning, CTS, ECO, sign-off).
• Create automation and scripts; deliver customer training, workshops, and presentations.
• Collaborate with R&D to communicate customer requirements and influence product roadmap.
• Travel for customer engagements and conferences (approximately 25–30%).

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience in digital physical implementation and timing closure techniques.
• Experience with advanced process nodes (16nm and below; 7nm or smaller highly valued).
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools (Siemens EDA, Synopsys, Cadence) across the design flow.
• Experienced knowledge of RTL synthesis methodologies: compile strategies, SDC constraints, logic optimization.
• Advanced Tcl scripting and strong Python skills for flow development and automation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused mentality.
