Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include hands-on technical engagement with customers, flow development, and knowledge transfer.

• Provide expert technical guidance across the RTL-to-GDS flow and optimize customer implementations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex synthesis, placement and routing challenges.
• Lead technical campaigns, benchmarks, evaluations and proofs-of-concept to accelerate tool adoption.
• Create and optimize reference flows and methodologies for synthesis, floorplanning, CTS, ECO and signoff.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops and technical presentations to customers.
• Address critical design problems: timing convergence, power optimization and physical verification closure.
• Collaborate with product and sales teams to translate customer needs into solutions.
• Travel to customer sites and conferences (up to 25–30%).

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Proven hands-on experience in digital physical implementation.
• Experience with advanced process nodes (16 nm and smaller).
• Strong knowledge of commercial EDA tools and the full implementation flow (Siemens EDA, Synopsys, Cadence).
• Experienced with RTL synthesis methodologies, compilation strategies, SDC constraints and logic optimization.
• Deep understanding of the RTL-to-GDS flow and timing-closure techniques.
• Advanced Tcl scripting for EDA automation and solid Python skills for flow development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, client orientation and presentation skills.
• Availability to travel up to 25–30%.

Nice to have:

• Experience with 7 nm design flows.
• Proven record of resolving complex technical issues in demanding design environments.
