Job Title

Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

Role Summary

Senior analog/mixed-signal IC designer in the Custom Silicon Solutions group, focused on portable consumer applications. The role contributes to architecture, block-level transistor design, integration, and cross-site collaboration to deliver production mixed-signal products.

Experience Level

Senior β€” the posting specifies a senior-level role with guidance of 5+ years' experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include technical design, integration, and cross-functional support.

  • Work with an analog/mixed-signal design team across multiple sites (including locations in Spain, Ireland, UK, and the Philippines).
  • Contribute to definition and architecture of high-performance mixed-signal devices.
  • IC block design and transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
  • Present technical results to internal teams and customers.
  • Use established design and verification tools, techniques, and flows to meet functional, power and timing objectives.
  • Integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal systems and take ownership of cell delivery.
  • Support layout, laboratory evaluation and test activities to ensure delivery meets requirements.
  • Improve analog design methodologies to reduce time and cost to market.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills, leadership qualities, and practical experience relevant to analog/mixed-signal IC projects.

  • Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal electronics, associated EDA tools and design flows.
  • Practical experience with circuit types such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, switching power supplies, and audio circuits is an advantage (nice-to-have).
  • Proven ability to take full cell ownership from architecture selection through implementation and debug.
  • Experience integrating analog blocks (converters, power management, etc.) into complex microcontroller systems is an advantage.
  • Strong people leadership, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).

Education Requirements

Electronic Engineering degree and at least 5+ years' experience as an analog/mixed-signal IC designer (as stated in the posting).
