Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include technical design, integration, and cross-functional support.
- Work with an analog/mixed-signal design team across multiple sites (including locations in Spain, Ireland, UK, and the Philippines).
- Contribute to definition and architecture of high-performance mixed-signal devices.
- IC block design and transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
- Present technical results to internal teams and customers.
- Use established design and verification tools, techniques, and flows to meet functional, power and timing objectives.
- Integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal systems and take ownership of cell delivery.
- Support layout, laboratory evaluation and test activities to ensure delivery meets requirements.
- Improve analog design methodologies to reduce time and cost to market.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills, leadership qualities, and practical experience relevant to analog/mixed-signal IC projects.
- Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal electronics, associated EDA tools and design flows.
- Practical experience with circuit types such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs, switching power supplies, and audio circuits is an advantage (nice-to-have).
- Proven ability to take full cell ownership from architecture selection through implementation and debug.
- Experience integrating analog blocks (converters, power management, etc.) into complex microcontroller systems is an advantage.
- Strong people leadership, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).
Education Requirements
Electronic Engineering degree and at least 5+ years' experience as an analog/mixed-signal IC designer (as stated in the posting).
