Job Title

Senior Analog Design Engineer

Role Summary

Design and verify analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for the Vital Signs Monitor Group, focused on low-power, high-performance AFEs for wearable and clinical healthcare products. Work across specification, behavioral modeling, silicon evaluation, and product introduction with cross-functional teams.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically requires 5+ years design experience with a BSEE or 2+ years with an MSEE/Ph.D.

Responsibilities

The role covers end-to-end IC development from specification to product introduction.

  • IC design from initial specification through transistor-level design, verification, documentation, and layout supervision.
  • Generate behavioral and system-level models for simulation and verification.
  • Plan and conduct silicon evaluation, characterization, and debug to support product introduction.
  • Coordinate with layout and verification teams and supervise layout activities as required.
  • Work with test engineering on design-for-test and manufacturability considerations.
  • Manage and adhere to project schedules and provide technical updates.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and professional abilities.

  • Thorough familiarity with ADC/DAC and data-converter design techniques.
  • Strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level analog design.
  • Experience with analog and digital behavioral modeling.
  • Familiar with Cadence schematic capture and Spectre and/or HSPICE circuit simulation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to meet project schedules.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Education Requirements

BSEE with 5+ years relevant design experience, or MSEE or Ph.D. focused on high-performance analog design techniques with 2+ years relevant design experience. Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Analog/Mixed-Signal, or closely related technical fields are expected.
