Job Title

Senior AMS Verification Leader

Role Summary

Lead mixed-signal verification activities for advanced automotive and industrial products within the Advanced Power System team. Own verification strategy, methodology improvements, and delivery of AMS verification deliverables from specification review through silicon correlation.

This role requires hands-on verification expertise, technical leadership of engineers, and close collaboration with digital verification, design, and post-silicon teams to ensure high-quality silicon delivery.

Experience Level

Senior β€” typically requires 10+ years of experience in AMS or mixed-signal IC verification.

Responsibilities

Accountable for planning, implementing, and improving AMS verification across complex projects.

  • Lead and mentor engineers on AMS verification tasks and project delivery.
  • Define verification plans, strategies, regressions, and coverage goals.
  • Develop and validate mixed-signal simulation environments, behavioral models, checkers, and assertions.
  • Integrate digital and mixed-signal verification flows for top-level verification.
  • Drive methodology improvements to increase simulation efficiency, reuse, and quality.
  • Support design reviews, bug tracking, post-silicon correlation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and tools experience for the role.

  • 10+ years of AMS or mixed-signal IC verification experience, including leadership of verification activities for complex ASIC or mixed-signal projects.
  • Strong knowledge of analog fundamentals, digital RTL debug, co-simulation, and mixed-signal verification methodologies.
  • Practical experience with verification plans, testbenches, regressions, coverage, reviews, and bug closure.
  • Proficiency with Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM, SVA, Verilog-AMS, SystemC, and WREAL/RNM modeling.
  • Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Xcelium, Spectre, and vManager.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or TCL; version control experience with Git, SVN, or DesignSync.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with automotive, industrial, safety-oriented, power management, or power-application products.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
