Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Design and build software tooling, firmware, and infrastructure for design, verification, manufacturing, and post-silicon validation.
- Collaborate with hardware and EDA teams to integrate tools into verification and post-silicon workflows.
- Develop and maintain large-scale compute infrastructure (grid, cloud, HPC) and automation for EDA workloads.
- Implement and operate data pipelines for design and characterization data; automate collection and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex low-level hardware-software interactions; improve reliability and performance.
- Participate in code and design reviews, produce documentation, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 6+ years software engineering experience in semiconductor or closely related environments.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with EDA, verification, or post-silicon validation workflows.
- Solid understanding of low-level hardware-software interaction and excellent debugging skills.
- Experience building or operating large-scale compute infrastructure (cloud, grid, HPC).
- Strong scripting and automation skills and experience with data pipelines for design/characterization data.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Exposure to SystemVerilog or other HDLs and familiarity with UVM-based verification workflows.
