Role Summary

Responsible for test and characterization development for space-grade semiconductor products, from early silicon through production. Work cross-functionally with design, test, manufacturing, and external partners to qualify products, improve yield, and validate devices for high-reliability and radiation environments.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop test and characterization plans in collaboration with design teams for new semiconductor products.
• Support production test development: hardware and software integration, limit setting, and test data analysis.
• Build, debug, and maintain bench setups; automate testing and data collection (Python).
• Correlate bench measurements with ATE results and support ATE bring-up.
• Support product qualification activities including high-reliability, space-grade validation, and radiation testing.
• Drive yield improvement and failure analysis; implement continuous test methodology enhancements.

Requirements

Must-have qualifications:

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing and product/test engineering.
• Proficiency in data analysis using industry-standard tools and workflows.
• Understanding of Cpk, process capability metrics, and statistical process control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience automating tests with Python and correlating bench and ATE results.
• Familiarity with product qualification for extreme environments and radiation testing.
• Hands-on experience with test hardware, ATE platforms, and failure analysis techniques.
