Develop and own product test development, characterization, and validation for semiconductor products used in space and extreme environments. Work across post-silicon development, product qualification, and production yield improvement while collaborating with design, test, and external partners.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include test planning, implementation, qualification support, and continuous improvement.

• Develop test and characterization plans in collaboration with design teams for new semiconductor products.
• Support production test development: hardware, software, limit setting, and data analysis.
• Build, debug, and maintain bench setups; automate testing using Python.
• Correlate bench results with ATE and support ATE development/validation.
• Support product qualification, including high-reliability and space-grade validation and radiation testing.
• Drive yield improvement and perform failure analysis; implement continuous test methodology enhancements.
• Take ownership of test development from early silicon through production and work cross-functionally.

• Must-have:
  • Semiconductor manufacturing or product/test engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (including Cpk).
  • Experience automating tests and scripting in Python; familiarity with bench and ATE correlation.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and perform hardware debug.
• Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with product qualification for high-reliability or space-grade products and radiation testing.
  • Experience driving yield improvement and formal failure analysis processes.
