RF Module Engineer

Role Summary

Design and develop RF hardware products and modules, including component and PCB-level circuitry. Work within a hardware engineering team to plan, measure, validate, and improve electronic parts and production techniques.

Role is a journey-level individual contributor position requiring independent technical judgment and regular reporting to a manager.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include design, validation, and continuous improvement of RF modules and related hardware.

• Design and develop RF modules, circuit boards, and related electronic assemblies.
• Evaluate reliability of materials, components, and production techniques.
• Plan, perform, and interpret measurements and characterization of electronic parts and integrated circuitry.
• Troubleshoot and resolve diverse hardware issues using engineering analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide regular project status updates to management.
• Document designs, test procedures, and validation results.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes for candidates (education items are listed below under Education Requirements).

• Hands-on experience designing and validating RF or high-frequency hardware modules.
• Practical knowledge of materials, component reliability, and production-related factors affecting hardware performance.
• Experience with measurement and characterization techniques for electronic components and assemblies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to select appropriate methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; clear written and verbal communication of technical status.
• Preferred: prior experience in semiconductor or RF product development.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree or PhD (specific fields not listed but typically electrical/electronic engineering, computer engineering, physics, or related technical disciplines).
