RF IC Design and System Simulation Engineer

Role Summary

Work on system-level simulation and transmit (Tx) full-chain verification for RF front-end modules (FEM). The role covers end-to-end performance of Tx chains by integrating power amplifiers, switches, filters and PCB models to predict system behavior.

Develop simulation methodologies, automate workflows and correlate simulation results with lab measurements to ensure design targets are met.

Mid-level — minimum 6+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities are system simulation, full-chain verification, automation of workflows, and correlation with measurement data.

• Develop and execute Tx full-chain simulation and verification for RF front-end modules (PA, switches, filters, PCB).
• Build and maintain simulation methodologies and automation to predict system-level performance.
• Integrate models across components and validate end-to-end behavior against lab measurements.
• Debug root causes of system issues and improve simulation accuracy and runtime.
• Collaborate with circuit design, verification and lab teams to close performance gaps.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of related experience in RF system simulation or RFIC verification.
• Solid understanding of transceiver architectures and complete RF front-end chains (PA, LNA, switch, filters).
• Expertise with simulation tools: ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, Dynamic Link, Golden Gate, and HFSS.
• Proficient with AI-assisted coding/automation tools (example: Claude Code) to accelerate development.
• Strong problem-solving skills to root-cause system issues and correlate simulation with lab measurements.
• Ability to develop automated workflows and integrate multi-tool simulation flows.
• Nice-to-have: hands-on RF circuit design experience (PA, switch, filter), EM simulation and thermal analysis, familiarity with AI tools like Cursor.

Education Requirements

MS degree or PhD in Engineering with a strong focus on RF power amplifier or related RFIC circuit design.
