Reliability Engineer
Role Summary
The Reliability Engineer supports wafer fab reliability activities including process reliability monitoring, process development, excursions and change requests using conventional and FWLR methodologies. The role collaborates with Fab and Technology Development teams to design and execute reliability tests, analyze results, assess risk, and propose design-rule or corrective actions.
Experience Level
Entry-level. New graduates are welcomed; no minimum years of professional experience specified.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include designing and executing reliability evaluations, documenting results, and supporting customer and fab interactions.
- Design reliability test structures and test plans for new processes and evaluations.
- Define, document, and maintain test procedures, findings, and tooling documentation.
- Execute reliability test plans for process evaluation, Process Reliability Monitoring (PRM) programs, change requests and line issues.
- Perform testing, failure analysis, risk assessments, and propose design-rule changes.
- Support customer engagement: present reliability findings during visits and audits; participate in risk-assessment meetings.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions (CA/PA) for FWLR reliability failures.
Requirements

- Must-have: Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Must-have: Ability to work independently and in a diverse, dynamic team environment.
- Must-have: Working knowledge of quality and reliability fundamentals.
- Must-have: Fluency in English, written and verbal.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with statistical and reliability tools such as Minitab or JMP.
- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with FMEA, 8D, and other corrective-action methodologies.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of process integration and CAD tools.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science. New graduates welcomed.
