Role Summary

Drive product reliability improvement through data-driven analysis, reliability qualification, and failure analysis. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, suppliers, and external labs to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and reduce field failures.

Responsibilities

Execute reliability and failure-analysis activities and communicate results to stakeholders.

• Plan and execute reliability qualifications (examples: MSL, TC, BHAST, RFHTOL) and interpret results to identify risks.
• Perform failure analysis (FA) and root-cause investigations; drive containment and corrective/preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
• Develop reliability models (field return analysis, reliability growth) and track improvements over time.
• Define reliability requirements, test plans, sampling, and acceptance criteria for new products and design/production changes.
• Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to improve process capability and reduce reliability escapes.
• Document findings and report reliability status to stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; preferred items listed separately.

• Experience in reliability engineering, product qualification, or failure analysis.
• Hands-on understanding of reliability test methods, statistics, and structured problem solving.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, suppliers, and external labs.

Preferred:

• Experience with semiconductor (FEM), networking, or high-volume electronics products.
• Familiarity with reliability test equipment and failure analysis tools.
• Experience working with external labs and supplier quality organizations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
