Role Summary

Develop and deploy application solutions for CAPRES metrology systems to support customer evaluation, ramp and process integration across Taiwan and the broader Asia region.

The role focuses on electrical and magnetic characterization (CIPT, MOKE, FMR, sheet resistance), on-site customer support, data analysis, and collaboration with regional teams and CAPRES headquarters.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Typical experience in relevant semiconductor applications and device characterization; role requires hands-on customer engagement and technical ownership.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include technical development, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Develop and implement application solutions for CAPRES metrology systems (CIPT, MOKE, FMR, sheet resistance).
  • Define and execute characterization plans; analyze electrical and magnetic measurement data to support customer evaluations.
  • Create application methodologies, test strategies, best known methods (BKMs), and document results in evaluation reports and application notes.
  • Provide on-site customer support in Taiwan and across Asia: recipe setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Implement and qualify new use cases at customer sites for R&D and high-volume manufacturing.
