- Analyze experimental process flows to detect defect anomalies and quarantine tools that are out of control.
- Use new and existing inspection/metrology tools to drive earlier detection and identification of root causes.
- Develop and improve inspection techniques and correlations to identify relevant process issues.
- Perform data analysis, baseline health checks, and systematic and random defect improvement activities.
- Participate actively in technical meetings and synthesize opportunities or novel approaches.
- Collaborate with global sites to develop and maintain best-known methods and site alignment.
- Continuously pursue operational improvements and raise timely alarms for process anomalies.
Requirements
Key skills and attributes required or preferred for the role.
- Must-have: Proactive learner with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Must-have: Ability to investigate process anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, manipulate data, and explore correlations.
- Must-have: Basic data-science aptitude and ability to learn/apply scripting, coding, or programming for data manipulation.
- Must-have: Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with metrology, inspection, or RDA tools.
- Nice-to-have: Ability to improve efficiency and solve problems using AI tools (for example, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot).
