R&D Product Development Engineer
Role Summary
Support product development for isolation products used in automotive and industrial applications. Work with IC design, test, process, product, quality, manufacturing and contract manufacturers to define, design, validate and launch new isolation devices.
Experience Level
Senior — requires 7+ years of semiconductor R&D product development experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include device definition, development, validation, and yield/reliability improvement.
- Define, design, test and characterize new isolation products.
- Lead R&D programs with cross-functional teams (IC design, test, process, product, quality, manufacturing, contract manufacturers).
- Plan and execute engineering programs to meet targets and improve manufacturing yield, quality and reliability.
- Perform product yield analysis and device failure investigations.
- Develop bench test setups and ATE test methodologies for product validation.
- Support NPI activities from verification/qualification to high-volume soft launch.
Requirements

- Must-have: strong expertise in analog design, opto-electronics design, and/or power MOSFET design.
- Must-have: demonstrated semiconductor product characterization, yield analysis and improvement, bench test setup, and ATE testing skills.
- Must-have: experience using statistical analysis tools for volume data analysis and semiconductor physical failure analysis.
- Must-have: strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Nice-to-have: experience in NPI project leadership and taking product from verification/qualification to high-volume soft launch.
Education Requirements
Degree (Bachelor's), Master's or PhD in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a closely related technical field is stated as required; posting specifies 7+ years of relevant semiconductor R&D product development experience.
