Role Summary
As a Quantum Error Correction Software Engineer on Intel's Corporate Technology Office team, you will design and implement software and research quantum error correction protocols to enable future fault-tolerant quantum computers. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to evaluate performance trade-offs and integrate solutions for Intel quantum systems.
Work focuses on technical ownership of software tools for quantum hardware constraints and advancing fault-tolerant architectures.

Responsibilities
The role involves research-driven software development, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and technical leadership to deliver production-quality tools and protocols.
- Design and implement software tailored to Intel quantum hardware constraints.
- Research and develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems.
- Evaluate performance of algorithmic and hardware alternatives; analyze hardware/software trade-offs.
- Collaborate with algorithm researchers, software engineers, and hardware engineers to integrate error-correcting codes.
- Provide technical leadership and drive engineering best practices for software delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to assess feasibility and prioritize development.
- Monitor industry trends and incorporate advances into technical strategy.
Requirements
