Role Summary
Join the SSD RMA Failure Analysis team to perform hands-on failure analysis, PCB rework, and lab operations supporting Data Center SSD returns. The role partners with engineering, quality, and operations teams to identify root causes and restore product quality.

Responsibilities
The technician will execute RMA failure analysis tasks and maintain lab readiness. Key responsibilities include:
- Receive, verify, and prepare RMA materials for testing and analysis.
- Operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for preconditioning and device testing.
- Perform bench-level testing, debug diagnostics, extract SSD logs, and isolate failing components.
- Analyze failure data, summarize results, and track experiment progress.
- Use FA lab equipment such as thermal chambers, 2D Xβray, and soldering/rework stations.
- Perform advanced BGA rework including removal, re-balling, and reinstallation.
- Interpret electrical schematics and perform board-level rework, replacing failed discrete components and power ICs.
- Maintain lab organization, equipment readiness, calibration, and supporting audit and training documentation.
