Role Summary
Support new product launches and sustain high-volume production reliability for SSD products in the NVMQRA SSD lab. Coordinate tester setup, firmware validation, ongoing reliability testing (ORT), failure analysis, and cross-functional corrective actions.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Prepare and validate test stations, firmware, low-power configurations, and test scripts for new product launches.
- Create and release training materials, conduct training, and attend product development team (PDT) meetings.
- Coordinate tester transfers and setups in the NVMQRA SSD Lab and plan ORT test capacity.
- Monitor ongoing reliability performance for datacenter and client SSDs and compile regular reliability reports.
- Perform and coordinate electrical failure analysis (EFA), firmware/hardware verification, root cause analysis, and CAPA validation.
- Maintain failure traceability, replicate and validate failures, update JIRA, and chair failure-analysis meetings.
- Ensure lab standards and controls: 6S, ESD, EHS, and annual physical inventory.
- Operate and sustain ORT systems, collaborate with Global Engineering Lab for preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Use scripting and AI tools to support data analysis, test automation, and post-ORT data processing.
- Monitor ORT status, tester connectivity, and monthly turnaround-time metrics.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Hands-on experience with reliability testing and ORT operations using tester racks/chambers.
- Electrical failure analysis (EFA) experience and firmware/hardware verification skills.
- Ability to develop/validate test scripts and validate firmware and low-power setups.
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent issue-tracking tools.
- Knowledge of lab controls and safety: 6S, ESD, and EHS practices.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and experience driving root-cause and corrective actions.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with datacenter and client SSD products.
- Experience with tools such as Open Code, GenieLab, Geniq, Roo Code, or equivalents.
- Experience coordinating preventive maintenance and repair programs with global engineering labs.
