Role Summary
Join the Custom IC (CIC) Mixed-Signal QA team in New Cairo to support verification and quality assurance of EDA software and related emulation hardware. The role focuses on implementing and automating test routines, executing verification diagnostics, and ensuring product functional quality across supported platforms.
Experience Level
Entry-level. Role is suitable for candidates with approximately 0–3 years of relevant test or software experience.
Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist senior engineers with feasibility and functional studies for automating test routines and software.
- Develop and implement test programs based on R&D test and verification diagnostics.
- Plan, document, and execute product tests and verifications.
- Diagnose software and/or emulation hardware functional failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Update and develop software programming driven by test results.
- Help ensure overall functional quality of released products across required platforms and mechanisms.

- Must-have: Basic programming ability to update or create test-related software.
- Must-have: Experience diagnosing software and/or emulation-hardware failures and assisting with root-cause analysis.

- Nice-to-have: Familiarity with mixed-signal IC testing, emulation hardware, or EDA/tool-chain concepts.
