Responsible for validating EDA platform components through load, stress, functional, regression and performance testing. Works with R&D to identify defects, improve test coverage and automation maturity, and apply AI tools to enhance test workflows.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute load, stress, functional, regression and performance tests for EDA platform components.
• Analyze product requirements and create test plans, test data, and quality deliverables.
• Isolate, report and track defects; provide actionable feedback to R&D to shorten debug cycles.
• Maintain ownership of assigned quality areas and escalate urgent issues appropriately.
• Identify risky areas and recommend improvements to reduce release risk.
• Leverage AI tools to improve testing workflows and increase automation.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or working with EDA tools.
• Strong understanding of software testing techniques.
• Proficiency with scripting: Tcl and shell; Perl or Python are advantageous.
• Working experience with Linux.
• Knowledge of VLSI concepts and EDA tool usage.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to document test scenarios and results clearly.
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor) is a plus.

Education Requirements

MS in Computer Science or related field.
