Prototyping Product Manager

Role Summary

Support product strategy and execution for FPGA-based prototyping tools used by hardware and software verification teams. Work with senior product managers, engineering, sales, and customers to define requirements, improve workflows, and support product launches.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Junior β€” 1–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the product roadmap and work across engineering, product engineering, and customer teams to deliver prototype solutions and product releases.

  • Support and maintain the product roadmap for FPGA-based prototyping tools.
  • Gather customer and market feedback from chip designers, verification engineers, and CAD/EDA teams.
  • Write product requirements, user stories, and feature specifications.
  • Analyze competitor tools and emerging trends in semiconductor design flows.
  • Assist with prioritization of features based on customer value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product engineering teams to clarify requirements and validate solutions.
  • Support go-to-market activities, including release notes, positioning, and internal enablement.
  • Track product performance metrics and report insights to stakeholders.
  • Support delivery of complex prototyping projects across hardware platforms and customer environments.

Requirements

  • Must-have: 1–5 years experience in product management, technical program management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Must-have: Familiarity with semiconductor design and verification, EDA workflows, or electronic systems design.
  • Must-have: Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into product and business language.
  • Must-have: Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international environment; prior work across multiple time zones.
  • Must-have: Ability to travel domestically or internationally when necessary.
  • Nice-to-have: Verification and EDA experience in multi-cultural or distributed engineering organizations.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field preferred.
