Role Summary
As a staff program manager in the Silicon IP Program Management Office, you will lead customer-facing IP programs for SoC projects, coordinate global cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery of IP and integration services.
The role focuses on technical program execution across engineering, sales, and support teams to reduce risk and accelerate customer product launches.
Experience Level
Senior — requires approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in program/project management and SoC design.
Responsibilities
Deliver program management across customer IP engagements. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary customer contact for IP programs.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate and align global cross-functional engineering, sales, and support teams.
- Identify, track, and mitigate technical and schedule risks.
- Provide regular status reports to customers and leadership.
- Drive improvements in program and project management processes.
Requirements
Core qualifications and skills required:
- Expertise in SoC design and IC manufacturing processes.
- Proven program or project management skills managing complex technical projects.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and managing customer expectations.
- Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience. The role expects roughly 5+ years of relevant experience in SoC/IC program management.
