Role Summary

Accountable for end-to-end delivery of multi-site R&D and industrialization projects, including studies, cost reduction initiatives, transfers and complex NPIs. Works with cross-functional teams and reports to senior and executive stakeholders.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically requires a minimum of 5 years' relevant project management experience.

Responsibilities

Own project delivery across scope, quality, schedule and budget while coordinating cross-functional teams.

• Define and maintain overall project plans in agreement with stakeholders.
• Execute projects within agreed specifications, quality, timing and cost boundaries.
• Build and lead high-performing, multi-site project teams; provide operational guidance and conflict management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; develop and implement contingency scenarios.
• Manage requested changes through formal change-control processes.
• Define and control project budgets, including CAPEX and product cost tracking.
• Provide transparent reporting and concise status updates for senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement of project processes and share learnings across teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years proven track record managing multiple concurrent high-value projects (project budgets typically > $1M).
• Proven leadership in managing intercultural and matrixed teams.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, change control, resource planning and budget management including CAPEX and product cost control.
• Experience managing diverse, cross-functional project teams in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrable ability to build, motivate and sustain high-performing teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and proactively solve problems.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and strong German communication skills.
• Nice to have: PMI certification (or similar); familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and packaging.

Education Requirements

University degree in an engineering field is required/preferred — preferably microelectronics or semiconductor physics. PMI certification (or similar) is listed as beneficial. No explicit statement about equivalence to degree was provided.
