Job Title

Project Manager

Role Summary

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional engineering projects delivering System IP, CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, SoC, GPU and PHY products. You will coordinate with Product Managers, Technical Leads, engineering teams and partners to plan, track, and deliver hardware and soft-IP products on schedule and to specification.

The role focuses on project planning, schedule and budget control, risk and change management, dependency management, and stakeholder communication. Occasional travel to collaborate with Arm teams and partners is required.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Specific years of experience are not stated; experience in semiconductor project management and engineering lifecycle delivery is expected.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Create and maintain project plans and detailed schedules
  • Coordinate resources across product, design, verification, and partner teams
  • Track progress with effective metrics; identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Manage change control and inter-project dependencies
  • Communicate status to Product Management, Technical Leads, and stakeholders
  • Manage budgets and allocations where applicable
  • Drive delivery of on-spec, high-quality products to committed schedules

Requirements

Must-have technical and domain skills required for this role.

  • Knowledge of microelectronics and IP development and integration flows
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Familiarity with hardware and soft-IP development lifecycles (waterfall, iterative, etc.)
  • Proven ability to build plans from high-level objectives into detailed schedules
  • Experience defining tracking metrics and handling uncertainty in engineering programs
  • Strong communication skills for working with highly skilled engineering teams and partners

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience driving projects in evolving development environments
  • Proactive, pragmatic problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Confluence

Education Requirements

Desired: a university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science. Formal project management qualification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent practical experience may be advantageous. Equivalent professional experience accepted where specified.
