Project Manager

Role Summary

Engineering project manager within the RF Semiconductors (RFS) team responsible for planning and coordinating development of RF semiconductor products, core technology and IP from concept through production. The role leads cross-functional, global engineering teams to meet product, schedule and business objectives.

Experience Level

Senior β€” 10+ years of experience managing complex technical projects in high-tech or semiconductor environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver multi-team product development initiatives while aligning technical and business priorities.

  • Lead large initiatives affecting multiple teams and regions; make decisions with long-term functional or business impact.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, milestones and staffing to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify, track and mitigate risks and obstacles to maintain project continuity and quality.
  • Coordinate across engineering, product, applications, marketing and manufacturing to align goals with market needs.
  • Partner with other program managers to prioritize deliverables across concurrent development and sustaining projects.
  • Serve as primary internal point of contact for status updates, escalation and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Design and implement process improvements and new solutions to increase delivery effectiveness.
  • Mentor and upskill junior project managers and team members.
  • Travel as required (about 10% of the time).

Requirements

Must-have qualifications and skills for successful performance in this role.

  • 10+ years managing complex technical projects in a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
  • Proven record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering results in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working independently and driving projects to completion across distributed teams.
  • Experience with project management tools and documentation practices.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (as stated in the posting).
  • Required travel: approximately 10%.
  • Nice-to-have: RF or IC product development experience, PMP or equivalent certification, proficiency in MS Project, Confluence, Jira and advanced Excel (including VBA).

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is listed as preferred.
