Job Title

Project Manager

Role Summary

Lead cross-functional engineering projects for System IP (examples: interconnect, memory management, DMA, media addressing) from conception through delivery. Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads and engineering teams to ensure products meet specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate engineering projects to deliver System IP products on time and on spec.

  • Lead project teams and coordinate work across product management, technical leads and engineering groups.
  • Create project plans and detailed schedules from high-level roadmaps.
  • Track progress, establish metrics, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Manage resources, budgets, dependencies, change control, issues and risks.
  • Ensure product quality and timely delivery to committed schedules.
  • Work with partners and support minimal travel when required.

Requirements

Core skills and experience required for successful performance in this role.

  • Knowledge of microelectronics and IP development flow and integration.
  • Experience in a technical industry delivering hardware or IP-based products.
  • Familiarity with hardware and Soft IP development lifecycle approaches (e.g., waterfall, iterative).
  • Proven ability to build plans from high-level objectives to detailed schedules.
  • Experience defining and using metrics to manage uncertainty and measure progress.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice-to-have: leadership experience, formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP), familiarity with Microsoft Project, Jira and Confluence, and strong attention to detail.

Education Requirements

A university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science is desired; other degrees may be considered with confirmed relevant experience.
