Job Title

Project Manager

Role Summary

Lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver System IP and SoC-related products (CPU, DMC, Interconnect, MMU, GIC, GPU, PHY) from conception through final delivery. Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads and engineering teams to ensure products meet quality, specification and schedule targets.

Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects across the development lifecycle and coordinate internal and partner activities.

  • Lead project teams delivering IP and SoC components, ensuring quality and on-spec delivery.
  • Create project plans and translate high-level objectives into detailed schedules.
  • Schedule, track progress, allocate resources and manage budgets.
  • Identify, track and mitigate issues, risks and changes; manage dependencies across teams and partners.
  • Communicate status and priorities to stakeholders and coordinate with Product Management and Technical Leads.
  • Support delivery processes and develop effective metrics for tracking project health.
  • Occasional travel to work with Arm teams and partners.

Requirements

Key technical and project-management capabilities required.

  • Knowledge of microelectronics and IP development flow and integration.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with hardware and Soft IP development lifecycle methods (e.g., waterfall, iterative).
  • Ability to build plans from high level into detailed schedules and derive tracking metrics.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills with engineering teams and external partners.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience driving projects in a rapidly changing development environment.
  • Proactive, pragmatic problem-solving and team leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira and Confluence.

Education Requirements

Desired: a university degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science; other degrees considered with relevant experience. Formal project-management certification (e.g., PMP) is listed as desirable. Equivalent practical experience accepted.
