Project Manager (2 Year Fixed Term)
Role Summary
Accountable for end-to-end delivery of multi-site research, study and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for a global semiconductor manufacturer. The role manages multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery of scope, quality, schedule and cost.
Position reports to the Senior Program Manager and is based in Stockport on a hybrid basis (three days per week in the office).

Responsibilities
The Project Manager will plan, coordinate and deliver projects across functions and sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end delivery of multi-site R&D, study and NPI projects.
- Define and maintain project delivery plans covering scope, schedule, resources, dependencies and costs.
- Manage project changes, risks and issues to maintain delivery within agreed specification, time and cost boundaries.
- Monitor and control project budgets, including CAPEX and product cost control.
- Coordinate and lead diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrixed organisation.
- Provide clear reporting and communication to stakeholders and governance bodies.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while meeting tight deadlines.

Must-have
- Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent high-value, high-impact projects (project budgets exceeding $1M).
- Strong understanding of risk management, change management, resource planning and budget management, including CAPEX and product cost control.
- Experience managing diverse, cross-functional project teams in a matrix organisation.
- Commercial acumen and a delivery mindset; ability to influence at all levels and communicate complex technical or business topics clearly.
Nice-to-have
- Understanding of Power MOSFET design.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and packages.
Education Requirements
A degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics, Electronics Engineering or a relevant discipline; equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
