Role Summary

Lead and develop a team of project leaders to deliver backend package R&D projects in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets through governance, resource allocation, and cross-functional coordination.

Focus areas include project planning, risk mitigation, quality compliance, and continuous improvement.

Experience Level

Mid-level: typically 6+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing with demonstrated project management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Accountable for project delivery, team leadership, and maintaining project controls and quality standards.

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of project leaders to achieve project goals.
• Define and manage project plans in alignment with stakeholders and management.
• Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and according to agreed targets; monitor progress and report status.
• Manage project changes through formal change management processes.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate technical, cost, schedule, and quality risks.
• Build and allocate resources to form effective, high-performing project teams; provide operational guidance and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems and support IATF 16949 audits and preparations.
• Collaborate with Finance on DFPC (Die Free Package Cost) and cost planning.
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation in project execution.

• Minimum 6+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Proven project management and leadership experience, including supervising teams.
• Knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving on complex projects.
• Familiarity with PFMEA and manufacturing quality tools and practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Results-driven, proactive, and team-oriented leadership mindset.

Education Requirements

Bachelors degree in engineering is required (for example electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related engineering disciplines). No alternative degree equivalency or specific certifications were listed in the posting.
