Program Manager, Staff

Role Summary

Develops, defines, and executes program plans of record including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. Monitors programs from initiation through delivery, drives alignment across internal and external stakeholders, and promotes process adoption and continuous improvement within the Program Management team.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Typically requires 7+ years of program/project management experience; semiconductor industry experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include program planning, execution, risk management and stakeholder alignment.

  • Develop and manage the program Plan of Record for multiple medium-sized programs, including schedule and resource forecasting.
  • Monitor program metrics, budgets, and on-time delivery; initiate corrective actions when metrics deviate.
  • Identify and secure resources; manage program risks and maintain risk trackers and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and sponsors to set priorities, scope, and communication cadence.
  • Drive adoption of processes and lead process improvement initiatives across the Program Management team.
  • Represent the program to management and influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders to gain buy-in.
  • Manage multiple medium-complexity programs with moderate supervision; escalate and resolve issues impacting schedule, scope, or budget.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience.

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience; experience in semiconductor programs preferred.
  • 3+ years working with operating budgets, resources, or project financials.
  • Knowledge of SoC design cycle, development processes, packaging, REE, and post-silicon validation.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to work in large matrixed organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills; experience interacting with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Teams, and AI assistants such as Co-Pilot.
  • Experience defining and implementing processes; ability to work independently and make high-impact decisions.

Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Preferred certification: PMP.
