Role Summary

The IP Product Program Manager owns the end-to-end customer journey for Tenstorrent IP products, aligning milestones and deliverables to product strategy and driving cross-functional execution across architecture, design, and software teams.

This hybrid role is based out of Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX; and Toronto, ON and focuses on coordinating customer integrations, tracking program goals, and keeping senior stakeholders informed of status and risks.

Experience Level

Mid-level — approximately 5+ years of program management experience in semiconductor/IP or related technical programs.

Responsibilities

Manage program delivery for IP products, coordinate customer integrations, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.

• Own coordination and communication between customers, the IP Product Team, and Engineering.
• Align product milestones, deliverables, and customer engagement plans to product strategy.
• Drive execution and agreed actions with architects, design teams, software engineers, and product managers.
• Define and track program goals, objectives, and deliverables against statements of work.
• Provide regular status reporting and risk/issue escalation to senior management and stakeholders.
• Run program reviews, measure performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), escalation paths, and turnaround commitments with customers.
• Foster cross-team knowledge sharing so hardware and software schedules remain coordinated.

Requirements

Key skills and background required to succeed in this role.

• Must-have: Hands-on experience with IP products and architectures (e.g., Arm, RISC-V, x86, AI accelerator, GPU IPs, or subsystems).
• Must-have: Deep understanding of semiconductor ecosystems and market trends for compute and accelerator IP.
• Must-have: Proven record of launching and managing complex IP products across the full lifecycle.
• Must-have: Practical experience using program management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.
• Must-have: Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Must-have: Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology (citizenship/permanent residency or ability to obtain required license) as employment may be contingent on export-control rules.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with AI inference/training toolchains and AI program management; familiarity with AI tooling that aids program tracking and reporting.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering is specified. The role also expects approximately five or more years of program management experience in relevant technical domains.
