Role Summary

Lead program management for Qualcomm's Camera IP commercialization across Mobile, IoT and AR Glass products. Serve as the central cross-functional coordinator between product, architecture, ASIC, systems, software and customer teams to deliver features on schedule, within scope and budget.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Drive and coordinate program delivery from pre-silicon through production with global engineering and customer teams.

• Plan, manage and control the Plan of Record (POR) for Camera core products; develop master schedules, work plans and design-review checkpoints.
• Act as a PMO center of excellence providing project-management support across the Camera organization.
• Translate product roadmaps into executable programs; prioritize work and drive decisions with sponsors and leadership.
• Report program status, milestones, risks and mitigation plans to senior management.
• Coordinate and synchronize deliverables across system architecture, ASIC digital design, verification, SW drivers and implementation teams.
• Organize and lead interdepartmental meetings; resolve resource conflicts and program issues; propose alternative schedules and plans when needed.
• Lead power-optimization activities: capture customer power requirements, drive cross-functional actions, track power KPIs and close gaps.
• Support AR Glass feature delivery and act as customer-facing technical program lead for onsite debugging and escalation.
• Provide onsite customer support and international travel (~20% typical; higher during launches and MP support).

Requirements

Essential skills, experience and behaviors for successful performance (education items summarized separately below).

• Proven program-management experience coordinating multi-discipline engineering teams and OEM partners.
• Understanding of CMOS image sensors and SoC platforms; ability to engage engineering leads across ASIC, systems and software domains.
• Experience managing complex product schedules, risk mitigation, and stakeholder reporting.
• Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills; able to drive decisions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask across architecture, digital design, verification, implementation and driver software activities.
• Willingness to travel internationally for customer engagements, debugging and production support.
• Nice-to-have: prior experience with power optimization programs, AR Glass projects, and camera IP commercialization for mobile/IoT products.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is stated.
