Program Manager
Role Summary
Manage end-to-end program development for custom IC products in the Power Division, driving projects from planning through mass production. Work cross-functionally with customers, hardware and software engineering, marketing, finance, sales and suppliers to meet scope, schedule and budget targets.
Experience Level
Senior-level β typically more than 8 years in program or project management within a technical/hardware development environment.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include program planning, execution, monitoring, reporting and escalation.
- Drive program development from planning to mass production and ensure on-time delivery.
- Define and lock program scope, strategy, schedule and budget.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with customers, engineering, software, marketing, finance, sales and suppliers.
- Apply PM practices: bottoms-up planning, dependency mapping, critical path analysis, and risk mitigation.
- Manage project schedules using industry-standard tools (MS Project) and monitor development progress.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to senior management; escalate issues as needed.
- Conduct project gate reviews; maintain meeting cadence and follow up on action items.
- Act as escalation point for unresolved functional and logistical issues and support the project team.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience.
- 8+ years coordinating development projects in a technical environment.
- Solid technical understanding or hands-on experience in hardware development.
- Proven ability to plan and manage complex projects across multiple departments.
- Strong client-facing, written and verbal communication skills; confident English speaker.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 and MS Project.
- Experience with project reporting, dependency mapping and risk mitigation.
- Nice-to-have: experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Engineering (or equivalent) with emphasis in project execution. PMP or PMA certification is a plus. Equivalent practical experience accepted where specified.
