Program Manager

Role Summary

Manage assigned ASIC/SoC development projects from kickoff through customer release. Coordinate cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams to deliver schedules, budgets, milestones, and product releases for semiconductor projects.

Experience Level

Entry-level (0–3 years). This role expects approximately 2+ years of program or project management experience in semiconductor or related product development.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate program execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams.

  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Track key project metrics and KPIs (schedule, scope, risks, budget, cost, quality, manufacturability).
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks; manage contingencies and issue resolution.
  • Support Annual Operating Planning (AOP) by estimating, forecasting, and managing project/portfolio spending.
  • Align product sample allocation and execution priorities with sales, marketing, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate responses to RFIs/RFQs and support customer engagements as needed.
  • Communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership via reviews and executive updates.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience for successful execution of ASIC/SoC programs.

  • 2+ years of program or technical project management experience coordinating cross-functional teams in semiconductor or related product development.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC/SoC NPI processes and milestones (feasibility, design, fabrication, packaging, test, characterization, qualification, HVM).
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget; experience managing schedules, dependencies, and cross-functional execution.
  • Risk management skills including tracking, contingency planning, and proactive escalation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and executive leadership.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and manufacturability considerations in semiconductor production.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics), Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. The posting references engineering disciplines relevant to semiconductor development.
