Role Summary
Manage technical IP development programs for tier‑one SoC customers, coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver IP on schedule and to specification from requirements through silicon bring‑up.
Works with Sales, R&D, FAE, CAE and customer SoC teams to translate requirements into development plans, mitigate integration risks, and ensure successful tape‑out outcomes.
Experience Level
Senior-level; typically requires 10–15+ years of relevant program management or technical leadership experience.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include end-to-end program ownership, cross-team coordination, risk management, and customer-facing technical leadership.
- Manage end-to-end IP development programs from initial requirements through silicon bring‑up and validation.
- Serve as the primary technical and operational contact between customers and Synopsys cross‑functional teams.
- Plan and drive program schedules for standard and custom IP deliveries and process node transitions.
- Identify, track, and escalate technical and schedule risks; drive issues to resolution across teams and customers.
- Coordinate IP integration activities with customer SoC design teams to ensure successful acquisition and validation.
- Translate customer SoC requirements into actionable development plans and align R&D roadmaps with product timelines.
- Communicate program status, risks, and dependencies to engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
Requirements

- Proven track record managing programs in analog and digital SoC design environments, delivering complex technical programs on schedule.
- Deep knowledge of IC manufacturing, process technology, design flow, and sign‑off processes.
- Understanding of memory and standard cell design and how IP integrates into SoC flows.
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical or program capacity, managing expectations and complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs, make clear trade‑off decisions, and keep geographically distributed teams aligned.
- Strong technical communication skills; able to translate complex integration issues into actionable plans for R&D and customers.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is cited; the posting references 10–15+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent practical experience is acceptable.
