Program Management Engineer
Role Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product development from opportunity assessment through release to market, ensuring schedule, cost, quality and forecasted return on investment. The role coordinates internal design, test, manufacturing and external fabrication/assembly partners and reports project status to senior management.
This position is part of TI's Career Accelerator Program and includes technical and professional training and on-the-job learning for early-career engineers.

Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include planning, coordinating and driving new-product development and qualification to achieve on-time release and expected ROI.
- Lead cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test, Firmware/Software, Manufacturing, Field, Quality) to release new products.
- Coordinate with wafer fabrication, assembly and test sites to meet schedule, cost and quality targets.
- Plan and track projects with MS Project from Assess Opportunity through Release to Market and manage project budgets.
- Provide direction to internal teams and external support organizations; drive and motivate team members for flawless execution.
- Provide weekly and monthly status updates to senior management; escalate and explain project issues.
- Interact with customers on project status, milestones, sample deliveries and special requests.
- Perform product reliability testing and characterization to verify specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Work with failure analysis to determine root cause of reliability/qualification failures.
- Maintain up-to-date project schedules and related milestones; develop and implement qualification plans.
- Coordinate material logistics and shipment/assembly/test prioritization; maintain project records in company systems.
