Job Title

Program Management Engineer

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end custom semiconductor development programs from concept through production for demanding internal and external customers. The role coordinates cross-functional teams across design, validation, test, manufacturing and supply chain to meet schedule, quality and business objectives.

Experience Level

Mid-level. Preferred experience: approximately 5–10+ years in program/project management within semiconductors, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.

Responsibilities

The program manager ensures execution, schedule adherence, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication for complex analog/mixed-signal/embedded product programs.

  • Own program planning, execution, scope, schedule, risks, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams: architecture, design, DV, layout, post-silicon validation, test, quality, packaging, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and operations.
  • Maintain detailed program schedules and run program reviews, technical checkpoints, and decision gates.
  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and drive corrective actions.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders and present program status and metrics to leadership and customers.
  • Ensure programs meet quality, reliability, and regulatory standards; coordinate root-cause analysis as needed.
  • Support go-to-market coordination and monitor cost, yield, and performance targets throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

Key professional qualifications and skills.

  • Must-have: 5+ years program/project management experience in semiconductors, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing, with responsibility for cross-functional product programs.
  • Must-have: Experience managing SoC/ASIC, analog/mixed-signal, or embedded product development programs.
  • Must-have: Strong understanding of semiconductor development flow: architecture → design → validation → test → quality → release to production.
  • Must-have: Proven skills in schedule and risk management, stakeholder communication, and driving cross-functional teams to deliver on milestones.
  • Must-have: Proficiency with program management tools (examples: Jira, MS Project, Confluence).
  • Must-have: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with high-volume manufacturing programs, budgeting at scale, or advanced program management certifications.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree (degree level specified in the posting). Field of study not specified.
