Role Summary

Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute new product development from opportunity assessment through release, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and forecasted return on investment are met.

This role coordinates design, manufacturing (wafer fabrication, assembly & test), validation, and product/test engineering across global sites and interacts with customers and senior management on project status and risks.

Experience Level

Mid-level — requires 6+ years of project engineering/management experience on complex products.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include program planning, coordination, and execution across internal and external teams.

• Lead cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, Systems & Applications, Validation, Product & Test Engineering, Firmware/Software, Manufacturing, Field, Quality) to release new products.
• Manage relationships with wafer fabrication, assembly, and test sites to meet schedule, cost, and quality goals.
• Plan and track projects using MS Project; maintain up-to-date schedules and milestones.
• Own project budgets and drive projects to come in on budget.
• Develop and implement qualification plans; perform product reliability and characterization testing to meet product and manufacturing requirements.
• Work with failure analysis to determine root cause of reliability and qualification failures.
• Coordinate material logistics, shipment prioritization, and production ramp activities.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management and customers; explain issues and mitigation plans.
• Maintain internal systems per new product development guidelines.

Requirements

• 6+ years of project engineering/management experience on highly complex products/projects.
• Proven leadership in leading multifaceted global teams and organizations.
• Track record of indirect management and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver on schedule.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience coordinating global development across design, fabrication, production test development, qualification, and production ramp.
• Knowledge of device packaging, wafer fabrication processes, and reliability requirements.
• Familiarity with tri-temperature characterization methodology and statistical analysis.
• Strong time-management and stakeholder-influence skills in fast-paced environments.

Education Requirements
