Role Summary

Responsible for production testing of power semiconductor chips at MPS and at subcontractor (partner) testing factories. The role focuses on importing and improving test solutions, ensuring test quality and efficiency at partner sites, supporting capacity expansion, and reducing partner test cost.

Experience Level

Entry-level - typically 1+ years of IC test-related experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Analyze and resolve production testing abnormalities at subcontractor test factories (setup, process, or lot test data issues).
• Import production test solutions, processes and systems from MPS to subcontractor sites.
• Support implementation to realize company capacity expansion at subcontractor testing factories.
• Investigate quality cases at subcontractor sites and drive complete resolution.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to develop and document solutions for quality, efficiency, and cost improvements.
• Work with product PTE to maintain test hardware and software.
• Support other engineering teams on subcontractor production test matters.

Requirements

Required skills and attributes:

• At least 1 year of IC test-related work experience.
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis; basic C or C++ programming skills.
• Familiarity with tester platforms is a plus (examples: ETS-88, CTA, ACCO, ASL).
• Ability to read and write English; verbal English skills preferred.
• Responsible, proactive, quick learner, and effective communicator.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field - or equivalent practical experience.
