Product Validation Engineer - Virtuoso
Responsible for quality engineering of the Cadence Virtuoso product line. The role develops analog and mixed-signal test designs, implements test methodologies, creates test specifications and automated test cases, and verifies schematic-to-routing tool functionality and interfaces.
The engineer will automate regressions, build test tools and scripts, debug issues, and collaborate with global R&D, product engineering, and release teams to improve product quality.
Entry-level β approximately 1β2 years of industry experience.
Primary responsibilities include designing tests, automating validation, and coordinating with engineering teams.
Must-have technical skills and attributes, plus a few preferred skills.
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI design engineering, or a closely related field, with about 1β2 years of industry experience. (If no degree, equivalent practical experience in analog/VLSI validation is typically acceptable.)
