Experience Level
Mid-level — more than 3 years of experience in validation and test of analog ICs.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include designing and executing validation plans, operating and improving lab tests, and coordinating equipment and data management.
- Create IC validation strategy covering hardware, software, and instrumentation.
- Bring up lab setups and design test hardware and software for analog and mixed-signal IC evaluation.
- Automate test setups and data collection using Python, LabVIEW, TestStand or similar tools.
- Perform system-level and parametric bench tests and ensure test quality and reproducibility.
- Debug device- and setup-related issues and drive them to closure independently.
- Document test procedures and results; maintain traceability and archive test data and documentation.
- Coordinate equipment activities: purchase, registration, calibration tracking, and maintenance.
- Drive improvements in test efficiency, measurement quality, and automation; develop new bench test methods and hardware.
