Role Summary
Join the Analog Power Products team in Dallas supporting product, test, or validation engineering functions for analog power ICs. The role works across IC design, applications, manufacturing, and quality teams through the full product development lifecycle.

Entry-level β typically requires 1+ years of relevant experience in product engineering, test engineering, validation engineering, hardware validation, or a related technical role.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by placement; typical duties include:

Product Engineering: Act as manufacturing/operations contact for assigned product lines, analyze production data for yield/quality trends, lead qualification and reliability testing, manage failure analysis and corrective actions, and maintain product documentation.

Test Engineering: Develop and debug automated test programs on ATE platforms, design and qualify load boards/test hardware, optimize test time and cost, translate specifications into test algorithms, and transfer test programs to manufacturing.

Validation Engineering: Develop and execute validation plans across temperature/voltage/load conditions, build bench test setups and automation, characterize device performance, debug silicon issues, and automate data collection and analysis.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- 1+ years of experience in product engineering, test engineering, validation engineering, hardware validation, or similar technical roles.
- Basic understanding of schematics, PCB layouts, and digital components.
- Knowledge of analog circuitry (examples: op-amps, DC/DC converters, LDOs, data converters).
- Strong verbal and written communication and ability to collaborate across functions.
Preferred / function-specific:
- Product: experience with qualification, reliability testing, failure analysis, and statistical data analysis tools (JMP, Python, Excel); familiarity with JEDEC standards and semiconductor manufacturing operations.
- Test: experience developing automated test programs for analog or mixed-signal ICs on ATE platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest); knowledge of load board and fixture design; programming in C/C++ or Python; familiarity with ATE languages (FLEX, IG-XL).
- Validation: hands-on use of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, source-measure units, signal generators, thermal chambers); PCB bring-up and bench characterization; programming for test automation (Python, C/C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
