Product Test Engineer
Role Summary
Responsible for maintaining and controlling testability to support continuous semiconductor production. Works with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to resolve yield, productivity, quality and reliability issues, qualify new products/hardware/processes, and support production startup.
Monitors product performance after delivery for a defined period, coordinates corrective actions with relevant teams, and summarizes findings in regular reports.
Experience Level
Entry-level (0-2 years' experience in the semiconductor or related electronics industry).
Responsibilities
Primary duties include sustaining testability in production, troubleshooting technical issues, qualifying new products/processes, and tracking post-delivery performance.
- Maintain and control testability to ensure continuous production.
- Identify and resolve product yield, productivity, quality and reliability problems.
- Qualify new products, hardware and processes for production startup.
- Support product/process testing, lot disposition and technical problem resolution.
- Drive improvements in rate, on-time delivery, yield, quality and test utilization.
- Monitor product performance for three months after delivery and produce weekly/monthly reports.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience; nice-to-have items listed separately.
- Must-have: 0-2 years' experience in the semiconductor/electronics industry or related fields.
- Must-have: Proficient in C/C++ programming.
- Must-have: Proficiency with MS Office and data tools (Power BI).
- Must-have: Strong systematic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Must-have: Excellent written and verbal English; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Must-have: Ability to work under high-pressure situations and present alternative solutions.
- Nice-to-have: Leadership skills and demonstrated teamwork capability.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics Engineering or other related fields.
