Product/Test Engineer
Role Summary
The Product/Test Engineer maintains and improves testability and production test processes for semiconductor products. The role diagnoses and resolves yield, quality, reliability and productivity issues, qualifies new products and processes for production startup, and supports smooth manufacturing operations.
Experience Level
Entry-level — 0–2 years of experience in the semiconductor or related electronics industry.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain and control testability to ensure continuous production.
- Investigate and resolve product yield, productivity, quality, and reliability issues.
- Drive improvements in productivity, quality, and cycle time for manufacturing test processes.
- Qualify new products and processes to enable production startup.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management and facilitation skills; effective written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Programming experience in C or C++.
- Six Sigma knowledge or certification (preferred).
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Six Sigma certification noted as preferred.
