Job Title

Associate Engineer, Product Engineering (Mfg.)

Role Summary

Responsible for qualifying alternate backend test facilities to support ADI products by assessing site capabilities, validating product setup, and analyzing qualification data to ensure product performance and reliability.

Works with global cross-functional teams to drive site qualification projects from initiation to completion and supports hands-on test setup and data collection as needed.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Graduate role. Suitable for candidates at the start of their engineering career.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include managing qualification projects, performing technical evaluations at receiving sites, and supporting test setup and data analysis.

  • Lead or support qualification of backend test facilities for product transfer.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and multiple concurrent qualifications.
  • Perform receiving site capability assessments and validate equipment/process readiness.
  • Gather and validate product setup and processing requirements; execute or support test setups.
  • Analyze qualification data, identify risks/gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Document and present qualification results and technical findings to stakeholders.
  • Support software debugging and circuit troubleshooting as required.
  • Travel to sites as needed (approximately 10% travel).

Requirements

  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment and coordinate with multiple teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving capability.
  • Willingness to learn and operate ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and perform hands-on test setup.
  • Ability to manage multiple qualification projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Basic programming/debugging familiarity is helpful for software debugging tasks.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with semiconductor test systems, bench equipment, or ATE setup and execution.
  • Knowledge of backend manufacturing and test operations or site-to-site product transfer experience.
  • Exposure to programming (Visual Basic, C) and developing automation tools/scripts.
  • Strong circuit analysis fundamentals and interest in applying AI-based tools for data analysis or automation.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Semiconductor, or a related engineering field is required (graduate/entry-level role).
