Product Marketing Engineer (Analog) β€” 2027 Campus Program

Role Summary

Entry-level product marketing/engineering role supporting analog product lines. The role supports product strategy, new product development, cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield improvement to meet profitability targets.

The role serves as the primary operational contact for an assigned product portfolio, resolves customer quality and application issues, and coordinates cross-functional teams and manufacturing sites for problem solving.

Experience Level

Entry-level / campus hire (early career). Intended for new graduates and participants in TI's Career Accelerator Program; typical experience 0–2 years.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support product strategy and roadmap to meet profitability and market targets.
  • Work on new product development, product qualification, reliability testing and device failure verification.
  • Coordinate cost reduction, capacity expansion and yield enhancement projects.
  • Serve as primary operational contact for assigned product portfolio and escalate/resolution of customer application or quality issues.
  • Collaborate with wafer fabrication and assembly sites to ensure manufacturing readiness and effective problem solving.
  • Develop test and validation setups, participate in test optimization, device debugging and verification to manufacturing.
  • Communicate results and status to cross-functional stakeholders and support on-the-job learning experiences.

Requirements

Must-have education details are listed under Education Requirements below. Additional technical and interpersonal expectations:

  • Basic understanding of schematics, PCB layouts and digital components.
  • Knowledge of analog circuitry (op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, etc.).
  • Programming skills in C/C++; familiarity with LabVIEW is a plus.
  • Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes), soldering and hardware debugging.
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment and bench setup for verification/characterization is beneficial.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, initiative, and time-management to deliver projects on schedule.

Education Requirements

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related technical field. The job information also lists Degree Level: Master's Degree (campus hiring may target master's-level candidates). A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher is required.
