Product Manager – Cloud AI Compute Subsystems

Role Summary

Product Manager for Arm's Cloud AI Business Unit focused on compute subsystem products for next-generation data center infrastructure. This role spans product definition, lifecycle management, and partner enablement for compute modules used by hyperscalers and technology partners.

Based in Austin, TX with a hybrid working pattern. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, architecture, and customer-facing teams to define requirements and drive product adoption.

Experience Level

Mid-level — typically 5+ years of relevant experience in processors, SoCs, compute subsystems, or related hardware technologies.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include defining product requirements, managing product lifecycle, and enabling partners to adopt Arm technology.

  • Define and refine compute subsystem requirements based on customer needs, market trends, and product strategy.
  • Manage and evolve existing compute module offerings throughout the product lifecycle, addressing partner requirements and improvements.
  • Work with engineering and client-facing teams to support partner integration from RTL through physical implementation.
  • Gather and surface insights from partner deployments to influence product priorities and roadmap.
  • Align cross-functional teams (product, architecture, engineering, program, commercial) on priorities, trade-offs, and execution.

Requirements

Key must-have skills and experience for this role.

  • 5+ years of experience with processors, SoCs, compute subsystems, or related hardware technologies.
  • Strong understanding of the hardware development lifecycle; able to engage across architecture, RTL, verification, performance, and physical implementation.
  • Ability to analyze technical trade-offs and translate product needs into actionable engineering requirements and priorities.
  • Proven cross-functional teamwork and clear communication with engineering, architecture, and customer-facing teams.
  • Right to work in the United States without sponsorship (role is not eligible for sponsorship).
  • Nice-to-have: Experience working directly with customers or technology partners on technical requirements, product adoption, or implementation.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with Arm-based processors, server technologies, data center/cloud infrastructure, networking, HPC, or AI compute platforms.
  • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with system architecture areas such as compute, memory, interconnect, I/O, acceleration, or system IP.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
